SM Residences combines real estate and fashion

When it ventured into the property market in 2003, SM Residences, the brand for SM Development Corporation’s residential projects, was guided by a vision.

To effectively communicate this luxurious lifestyle to its target customers, SM Residences has adopted a novel marketing idea – strategically utilizing fashion in selling its properties.

Recently, SM Residences, together with the Philippine Fashion Week, mounted a one-night presentation at the SMX Convention Center featuring high fashion inspired by luxurious condo living. Designers were tapped to interpret and translate the lifestyles enjoyed at SM Residences into fabulous outfits fit for hip and stylish condo dwellers. This was the second time that the two collaborated on such a project and both events were successful, proving that fashion and real estate naturally mix. Where to live and what to wear are indeed fundamental to everyone.

The Philippine Fashion Week is the country’s biggest bi-annual style event. This year it featured more than 100 designers in simultaneous fashions shows mounted at the SMX Convention Center and SM Mall of Asia.

Followed by a huge high profile audience, it provided a good platform for SM Residences to promote its properties, to wit: Mezza Residences in Sta. Mesa; Chateau Elysée condoville in Bicutan, Paranaque; and Sea Residences in Mall of Asia Complex; Grass Residences in Quezon City, Field Residences in Sucat, Paranaque.

Mezza Residences brings to life the aspirations of upscale urbanites living a work hard, play hard lifestyle. Located in Aurora Boulevard across an 8,000 sqm lot, the project offers a fully-equipped community, allowing residents easy access to schools, hospitals, churches, banks, and other necessary amenities.

The project’s proximity to St. Luke’s Medical Center, Trinity University of Asia, St. Joseph’s College, Sto. Niño de Violago Church, Pure Gold, Quezon City Sports Club and Walter Mart Supermarket will give residents the freedom to have almost everything within reach. “The Capital Towers is our flagship project in Quezon City. We are very proud of our unit layouts and space management. Installing a concealed sanitary piping system ensures confinement of plumbing pipe work to the unit only, eliminating the need to disturb the unit tenant below. This system also fosters efficient water management system – advancing the need for sustainable eco-living.

The units, varying in sizes (33 sqm to 116.5 sqm), are knitted in natural teakwood parquet (living, dining and bedrooms), ceramic tiles (kitchen, toilet and bath) and are buffed with kitchen base cabinet, laminated doors, granite countertop and splashboard.

The tower facilities shall also include a fire alarm and detection system, water sprinkler system, 24-hour standby generator system, three high-speed elevators. The Athens Tower also boasts of a Greek-inspired lobby with a mural of Santorini’s famed white houses.

The residential tower has several amenities, among them, a reflective pool, landscaped podium garden, fitness center and jogging path, swimming pool, children’s area and daycare, multi-purpose hall for parties, and a podium view deck.

Completion of The Capital Towers is expected in 2010.SM City Sta. Mesa, it is a four-tower, 8,000-sqm development that welcomes residents and guests with a grand lobby.
